Privacy Policy Free QR Tools

Free QR Tools is a free QR code generator. This page explains what data we collect when you use this site, and what we do with it. We keep it short and plain, because a privacy policy should be easy to understand.

QR codes are made in your browser

When you make a QR code on this site, the code is made in your web browser, on your own device. The link, text, WiFi password, or contact details you type are not sent to our server to make the code. We do not store the content of your QR codes. We do not see your WiFi password, your phone number, or your payment details. When you close the page, that content is gone from our side, because it was never on our side at all.

Data we do not collect

We do not ask you to make an account, and we do not ask for your name unless you choose to contact us. We do not track the QR codes you make, we do not keep a list of your codes, and we do not sell or share any data about your codes. No sign-up means no account details to collect, and no watermark means nothing extra is added to your code. What you type stays on your device.

What we do collect

Like most websites, our hosting server keeps basic logs when you visit, such as the time of the visit and the page you asked for. These logs help us keep the site running and fix problems. We do not use these logs to identify you by name.

Contact form

If you send us a message with the contact form, you give us your name, your email address, and your message. We use those details only to read your message and reply to you. We do not sell them, we do not share them with anyone else, and we do not add you to a mailing list. You can ask us to delete your message at any time by emailing contact.us958@gmail.com.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies. Some cookies keep the site working, for example by remembering your cookie choice. When we show ads or use analytics, those services may use cookies too. You can accept or decline those cookies with the banner on your first visit, and you can change your mind later. Declining cookies will not stop the QR code tool from working.

Ads and analytics

We plan to show ads on this site in future, through Google AdSense, and to use analytics to see which pages people read. Those services may collect their own data, such as which pages you visit and what device you use. That data is used to show ads and to count visits. It is not used to identify you by name. When ads are live, this page will say so.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other websites, for example Google Maps or a payment page. When you follow one of those links, you leave this site, and the other site’s privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for what other sites do with your data.

Children

This site is made for adults and for older children with a parent or teacher. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do that, email contact.us958@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We will answer as soon as we can.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. The new version applies from the day it is posted here.
