Terms of Use Free QR Tools

Last updated: 7 November 2026

These terms explain the rules for using Free QR Tools. When you use this site, you agree to these terms. We wrote them in plain words, so you can actually read them.

The service

Free QR Tools is a free QR code generator. You can make QR codes for links, text, WiFi, contact details, WhatsApp, payment pages, and more. You do not need to make an account, and you do not need to pay. The codes you make are static codes. They do not expire, and they have no watermark.

Who owns the codes you make

The QR codes you make are yours. You can use them on a printed menu, a shop window, a business card, a poster, or a product. You can use them for personal use or for your business. We do not claim any rights over your codes, and we do not put our name on them.

What you may do

You may make as many codes as you like. You may print them, share them, and put them on your own website or products. You may download them as PNG or SVG and use them again and again.

What you may not do

You may not use this site to make codes that link to anything illegal, harmful, or dishonest. That includes scams, phishing pages, malware, and stolen content. You may not use the site in a way that breaks it for other people, for example by trying to overload it. You may not copy this site’s name or logo and pretend to be us.

If a code breaks the rules

If we find a code that breaks these rules, or if someone reports one to us, we may block it from being made again, and we may block the person who made it. We do not have to give a warning first, and we do not have to explain our decision. If you think we made a mistake, you can email us and tell us why.

Your codes and your responsibility

You are responsible for what your codes link to. Check the link before you print the code. If the link is wrong, the code will still scan, but it will take people to the wrong place. If you share a WiFi code, anyone who scans it can join your network, so only share it with people you trust. If you make a payment code, check the payment details twice, because a wrong detail can send money to the wrong person.

Fair use

This site is free for normal use. Making a few hundred codes for your shop, your wedding, or your classroom is normal use. Trying to make thousands of codes every minute is not normal use, and it can slow the site down for everyone else. If we see use like that, we may slow it down or block it. Please use the site in a fair way, so it stays fast and free for everyone.

Accuracy and availability

We work hard to keep this site running and to keep the tool correct, but we cannot promise it will never have a fault. The service is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it will be up at all times. If the site is down for a short time, please try again later. Always test a QR code by scanning it with your phone before you print it in large numbers.

Links to other sites

Our pages link to other sites, such as Google Maps and payment pages. We are not responsible for those sites, their content, or what they do with your data. Their own terms apply when you use them.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms from time to time. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. The new terms apply from the day they are posted here. If you keep using the site after a change, you agree to the new terms.
